Until last December, I had never read an Elin Hilderbrand book. I was at a library book sale last year and I stumbled upon Elin Hilderbrand’s Winter Stroll. It was in a holiday section of the book sale, and as a Christmas lover, that alone intrigued me. I purchased the book that day, and later learned that it was actually the second book in the Winter Street series. I read the complete series over the holidays last year, and I loved it. I loved learning about Nantucket, a place I’ve never been, and I loved following the dramas of Nantucket’s residents. Since reading the Winter Street series, one of my reading goals has been to read every Elin Hilderband book. Given her extensive catalogue, it’s a work in progress, but here’s how I rank the ones I’ve read so far:
- The Five-Star Weekend
- The “Winter Street” series (takes place over the holidays)
- Winter Street
- Winter Stroll
- Winter Storms
- Winter Solstice
- Summer People
- The “Paradise” series (takes place in the winter in the Caribbean)
- Winter in Paradise
- What Happens in Paradise
- Troubles in Paradise
- The Beach Club
- Beautiful Day
- Nantucket Nights
- Barefoot
- The Love Season
- The Blue Bistro
Unranked:
- The Surfing Lesson (short story, prefaces Beautiful Day)
- Natural Selection (short story)
